No Show Shine

There was a lot of no shows this week, so selecting the best battle & verse seems a bit pointless. Instead the mag will be used to display 3 good verses which won't have got many reads considering their opponents no shows:

6. Misunderstood –
Is attempting a comeback to anotha and looks hungry. Has the spotlight on him (more on this later) as he looks to rebound after conceding a close loss to Fohkus last week. Seems uncomfortable with the conventions of modern day anotha text battling, but still appears a formidable presence in the league.

5. sp!tf!r3 –
Fell victim to an elevated Dilated a couple weeks ago but will hurt anyone who sleeps on him. Hasn’t really established his own mould, but is only a verse away from really breaking out.

4. Dilated Eyes –
Provided the upset of the league a couple weeks ago against sp!t and has been improving week and week out. Really only in the championship match because of his effort against sp!t and wins against a few other lacklustre verses, and will have to elevate a lot to reverse the outcome of his rematch with Te Ora. Word is that he’s talking about signing out – I hope this isn’t the case as he is an improving and valued participant in this league.

3. Joe Native –
Has proved himself a prolific disser in managing ongoing beefs with ER and IS, while retaining a respectable ABL record. Will need to focus entirely on his opponent to progress to the title match this week though.

2. Menace –
The only other original battler who hasn’t lost a battle yet, his loss column consisting of a no show from a couple of weeks ago. Look for him to show strongly in the contendorship match this week as he looks to claim the championship.

1. Te Ora –
Undefeated. The ABL’s first champion and doesn’t look like slowing down anytime soon.

I was mad fatigued by the time I found out I had to do these but anyway here's this weeks..

Top Ten:

Championship Match: 1. Te Ora (5-0) vs. 2. Dilated Eyes (3-2)
I'll probably win this.

Contendorship Match: 3. ThaMenace (4-1) vs. 4. Joe Native (3-2)
Could go either way. I predict some natural disaster prevents either from dropping!

5. MC J3RSEY (2-3) vs. 6. doodydean (2-2)
Yea.. J3RS will win this.

7. sp!tf!r3 (3-2) vs. 8. presyce (3-1)
presyce will win this. Why, you ask? Because sp!t placed his 'Common Sense' column and schoolwork (I know wtf) over writing predictions this week.
