I like writing pieces about just plain torturing somebody....it is the complete opposite of my worldly view of peace and love, which is what imagination is for. More imagination is required when you write in a way that is so far removed from how you really are....that's why I like it.
Plus it is fun, less rules and more imagination....never hurts to try something new.
