I was just combing through the archives. I don't mean this as an insult to Soulstice, he made the Season 1 playoffs as a lower seed than even existed in this tournament, then didn't have to beat anyone to reach the title match. He had two disqualified opponents and another who no-showed before he lost to dead man.

Just offering some perspective.

You tell me who had the toughest path to a title: dead man beat patrown, Witty and Soulstice. El Pancake beat YDK, Mr. J and Frank. I beat (or appear to have beaten) oats, King Ra. and YDK. All three of us drew passes against very tough opponents (dead man via Frank disqualification, El Pancake via Diode no-show and me via El Pancake no-show).

All told, I'd say dead man probably faced the toughest competition, followed by me, then El Pancake. The difference is that my toughest opponent (with all due respect to YDK and King Ra., whom I respect very much) came first.
