I cried in the bathroom today 'cause my cat ran away.
My dog died on a log ride. I'm getting a lap dance. Dismayed.
So emotional.
Emotional writing is mostly bullshit, when it's good. It's tapping into real emotions and then giving them a hint of mystery and wit so it's interesting. Real 'emotional' writing is done when you're being honest with yourself about things that other people can relate to... and lots of other angles.
