It was pretty much all down hill after that.
Another 8 Mile wouldn't do it though.. I mean, url and to a lesser extent kotd are sorta pushing battling back toward the mainstream, but, we live in a different age of technology. As teens, we went to the computer to go online. Younger generations now do their internets via mobile.. the concept of typing up text battles just doesn't translate to phone/tablet

I don't think the problem is text rap as much as all message board communities. The message board is a dying concept.
