The reason why this thread can not rank higher than 4/10 is because of the following reasons:
- Pseudo-intellectuals always think that what books they read weigh heavily on how they are perceived. True intellectuals do not attention-whore themselves in this manner. Pseudo-intellectuals also think "infallible" is a "big word" (see also: felonious) when in fact these are lower tier grade school spelling words.
- People who actually read books know that it is impossible to list one book as a favorite. Also, having a favorite vocabulary word would be very lowbrow for a true intellectual.... ironic? yes, but hipsterism was built upon lesser ironies.
- If it is to be a secret society, admission status should be validated via PM. This is why people argue about the Illuminati.
