i think you grew a bit melodramatic at times but what I'm discovering about cliches in terms of expressive writing is that we are really taught from the time we learn to read to think about abstract concepts, like love for example, in terms of cliches that have become popularized and sort of ingrained into our collective viewpoints. what is more difficult and praiseworthy is discovering unique ways to express it. using descriptive devices or vocabulary that hasn't been used already to convey the same sort of feeling.
you have a brutal honesty in your writing that drew me into this.
