rust returned to the all. im sure you interpreted it as heaven. its going to be interpreted differently depending on everyones belief systems. my belief personally is that any living thing has a piece of "energy" or what you would probably view as a "soul". we all have god within us. we think we are seperate beings/entities due to our human brain but at the base level there is the energy that gives us life and makes us different from a grain of sand. we are apart of the explosion of the all, we are the fire as it takes a piece of paper and turns it to ash.
i believe in the big bang and i believe all of everything that isnt nothing, is just the fire of the ALL.
but word the ending in my opinion, is his "energy/soul" returning to the "all" aka the fuel to to the fire of any living things existence.
but the meaning of the ending other than his talk about experiencing the void, is just him and marty talking about there being light in the universe/world. they did a good thing killing the main dude (ALLEGEDLY) so its a parallel to how the nights sky is filled with stars now, the world is a little brighter with that dude being gone.
dope show though, for sure. 10/10.
although rust shouldve died, you don't live through that. i know someone read that sentence and is like fucking MARTY GOT TOMAHAWKED IN THE CHEST, well duh but it was the right side of his chest, the human breastbone and ribs/whatever is pretty serious in that area, the tomahawk might not have hit anything vital but it couldve broken bones in his chest
rust on the other hand got a cool 6 inches of blade right to vital gut organs, WAS LIFTED UP BY THE WOUND, and the blade was jerked around inside him.
he would have died long before anyone showed up to save him, let alone make it to a coma. his own bile wouldve infected everything even if he didnt bleed to death, no surgery couldve saved him.
i mean i guess in magic tv land it couldve missed everything vital, but in real life your chance of living through that traumatic of a stab wound is like 1 in a trillion
