in general -- name changes are typically stupid and unnecessary, but since they'd become common place enough, i let admins that do not mind doing them do their thing.
on my side i will change names back to original handles - otherwise, people should commit to the name their name or decide to start from scratch if they want to start anew...
i don't know where the whole name change craze came from, but it's just a silly waste of time which leads to data convolution and a short-term laf at best... this shit was never common place back in the day for good reason, but since it is now, we'll never say never --- but the amount of asks started getting ridiculous dude.
