Right now I got Wesker, Jill, and Nemesis or Doctor Strange. Wesker is the anchor, I switch Jill and Nemesis out as needed, sometimes they fail me. I also like Vergil, ofc. Chris sucks, he's too grounded. I don't play much online btw, which is why I like SF3 OE. I play my friends that I've played fighting games with since I was a kid. I tried playing it online, and you are correct in saying that the lag is almost always unbearable.
Oh and btw, trust me on that Wesker shit. Jill too, although I can't master her cancels. She goes into another speed after you do her cartwheel kick, and it throws off my rhythm. I'll get it eventually I just don't have time to only play that game.
