He's right in a way tho, if ppl aren't smart enough to understand simple wordplays, they shouldn't be surprised when ppl feel the need to explain their lines.
Although you could say it is down to the writer to word it in such a way that there is no confusion, but one can only do so much.
Not that I care, topical is where it's at.
