hell yea Hush. It's very unlikely you'll be disappointed.
The plot is raw, the action is solid -- and as overly detailed and unnecessary of a breakdown as it might seem, the "character development" is the effin best since like Sopranos imo -- and perhaps even better due to the dynamics of individual relationships and overall "culture clashes" (bikers in the arms trade, gangs in the dope game, from white supremacists to the IRA to the Cartel to Suburbia in general).
Just like the Sopranos, you root for the bad guys, but the bad guys you root for changes and evolves over time more than Sopranos.
Just brilliant writing if one appreciates that sort of thing -- and even if they don't think they appreciate that sort of thing, they will appreciate how that brilliant writing translates to the "shock value" it brings to the show.
There was a scene last season that was beyond cringe-worthy, like literally was sitting there amazed that it was on network television.
SOA should be in the same conversation as Sopranos and The Wire - and come to think about it, it actually brings many of the best aspects of both of those shows together imo.
