see it had to change, back in the day only certain wrestlers could make it, nowadays there is a wide range of wrestlers than can succeed, and they can make more money now to. there wasn't to many people that could hang with the rock or stone cold, so it had to evolve. the same people that complain about the attitude era being gone, are the same ones that complain when a storyline lasts to long, it was great the attitude era ended with stone cold and the rock tbh. wrestlers are pose to be replaceable for a promotion, but back in those days, the good attitude era wrestlers where irreplaceable, there isn't a wrestler that can't be replaced now, and that's good for business.
