Grammar is not particularly subjective. Style is. Dangling participles and mismatched verb tenses are grammar issues. The Oxford comma is a style issue, and my reference to it was a joke. But you actually think it is superior. It is inherently a matter of style based around the expectations and reference points of readers. Neither use is grammatically correct or incorrect.
I'm in no tiff. I'm lying in bed considering getting up. I don't get worked up about these things. I simply am right and always willing to defend myself when I am right.
