It started in darkness
Heart rhythms faster, arms begin to chatter
Wish for thoughts to advance on further, but it is
hard to imagine when your target isn't matter
Mind harnesses unlatching apart into fractions
Chartered to blast from the carcass I'm trapped within
Travel the path of dimentions like fractals condenced
I'm endowed by the methods of Astral projection
Scowering texts till I've mastered the lessons
Now I confess what I found, in this testament
My soul shivered out and ascended
And a force pulled me forth with no remorse
A soaring ghostly aura floating north
I bore a golden cord from my former spine
And while the cord survives my forms alive
A warning stripe to adorn my mortal life
As I rise the darkness warms up bright
Achieve this soaring height and see a door

Was taught how night evolves despite its costs
How it gives rise to light because the night needs dawn

Look on to watch me rise and fall
