we're progressing just as quickly/quicker

they are progressing through spy tactics and shit. like they've hacked our databases and stolen blueprints for stuff. its like the russians, in WW2 they got a german sub, and reverse engineered it, and started building there own subs. china did the same thing with there subs/warships to my knowledge.

but word they're basically building there stuff to rival america and the western world, while america and the western world keep building and innovating on there own.

i don't think they can catch us.

one guy with a fully auto machine gun can lay waste to 20 men for instance. but one man with a fully auto machine gun, might not be able to lay waste to 20 men with semi automatic rifles

basically the analogy i'm sleepily trying to put together, is china might not need technological superiority since they just have crazy numbers, but they need to be somewhat up to date to give it a shot

but i don't see them surpassing the US simply because we have more money to throw at top level science dudes to develop this stuff
