My reasoning for stealing is largely about distribution of wealth. You have more than you need, and I don't, so I'm forcing you into giving to my own personal charity.

Let's take high end thievery, for example. Say you want to steal a diamond necklace. Do you scale the building and Catherine Zeta-Jones your way through the laser beams, or do you drive an 18 wheeler through the wall and jump out with assault rifles? One is hurting people, and causing traumatic stress. The other is taking property that most likely isn't necessary to the owner, without hurting anyone.

What you're mostly talking about is honor, I think. Honor is relative. I separate myself from most perceptions of what's right or wrong. So my code of ethics isn't dependant on what you think is honorable or cowardly.
