The topic is heavily tilted in Frank's favor. Interesting matchup, both Frank and PCB are known as heavyweights due to their stories, and both are renowned on site for their originality in their lyricism/ styles.
Pancake has the edge in emotional appeal as well as descriptive deconstruction of a topic. Frank has strong presentation skills. He's also more versed in using literary or plot devices that aren't related to rhyming, and alluding to relationships and meanings in the real world.
Frank's use of supernatural and/or surrealist techniques may at first seem to give him greater depth and creative freedom, but PCB cleverly counteracts this by grounding his characters, stories, and settings in brief vignettes of pop-culturalism.
Not in the sense of the media, but within the sphere of existence of his topic... Frank is limited by how well he tunes the audience into the endless songs in his head, while Pancake is the inverse- extrovert/introvert collision of scopes
Pancake works with atmosphere on a microcosmic level in the way that Vulgar does on a macrocosmic level, if that makes more sense
I think Pancake does much better with photographs and especially abstract phrases than he does art. Pancake will likely avoid dissecting the picture in favor of recreating it on a symbolic level, as will Frank because this is his specialty.
