Nah though, I really can't see it ever being as big in the US as it is pretty much everywhere else in the world, Americans are stubborn and rightfully so...if something like baseball or American Football started taking over here I would be mad too.

I like that different cultures play different sports, I think that it is good that America is probably one of the only countries left that still hold on to their own sports and that the majority of professional athletes in America play an American sport, football is my favourite sport but as history will show you, once football is embraced any nationally followed sports suffer dramatically, and often end up being wiped out.

Hold on to your culture and your history guys, do not embrace 'soccer'.
