a sale is a sale no matter what form telemarketing, door to door, commodities investments, stocks, forex what ever it is is a SALE..
the question is not are you soft spoken ..
but are you

everyone phone call has a sale ... either theyre selling you why not .. or you selling them why .. being soft spoken is a bullshit excuse to failure not being expected .. obviously you werent good enough ... sales is always going to have an up & down just like life in general .. how you treat the downs is how you define success .. because im almost 100% sure your the guy who has a bad week & lets the whole office know how you feel there fore becoming a Nuisance & a Cancer which is definitely terms for termination .. sales is just another sport the more you practice & pitch & roleplay the better you will get ... in sales you must know your product knowledge no matter what it is this will help you thrive .. in a sales job you get what you put in .. if you dedicate 100% your check will reflect it .. if not then you get the same scenario ...
needless to say this is not me downing you by any means .. is just to say Telemarketing or Sales in general is shit is non sense .. because 5% of the world makes 100,000+ yearly which about 3% of that are salesmen ..
