And @ PancakeBrah, I, too, have found plenty of good music via Pitchfork. They had the reputation for being absurdly mean sometimes early on, but that's changed quite a bit. Now if anything I'd like more strong responses. Every review seems to be in the 8.6 to 7.1 range now.
I don't actually use Pandora. I like full albums and feel weird having music skip around on me. But I check out NME, Spin, The AV Club and PopMatters. Sometimes I check out Rolling Stone or AllMusic, but I take their reviews of new music pretty lightly. |
