Everyone has fluctuations in creativity and interest. I usually just ride it out; write even if I don't want to, knowing I'm not going to post it on here. I have a bunch of bullshit verses in a notebook that I will never post here. I'll even start writing with a specific goal of just not stopping. As in, just writing a bunch of rhymes and lines non stop even if they don't make sense at all. I usually come out better for it. I would suggest reading a bunch of verses from people who everyone considers top tier (black, vulg, darth, dull, oats, etc.). A bunch of their pieces. Then parse out what you think makes them good and try to incorporate it into your writing. Not stealing their style, but making note of their qualities and meshing it with your own inherent way of writing.

Although there is something worthwhile in not writing at all, and just viewing life. Taking in what you see and letting creativity build. But I usually do the former.

My 2 cents.
