not sure if its just my phone, but this pops up as the blue ? invalid image thing...
That role model like the Pillsbury mascot line was unique, never heard that reference before. You had a lot of wordplay and I'm pretty sure this would translate real nice to audio, not familiar with the song, and I'm not gonna listen to drake just to catch the beat. This would've read a lot better if you just separated the lines by hitting enter instead of the double slashes, but, I used to write like that on the old old aol chat battle rooms, yea, America online... I'm old as fuck. But, something that helped me match beats consistently was learning musical timing, (that mention of alignment came right at the right time though) typically all rap beats are basic 4/4 or 4/8 timing, don't mean you gotta end your line rhymes every 4th head nod, but it makes it easier, for me at least, to keep on the beat perfectly. I used to map beats with the clock time and number of bars first so if I was trying to perfect a melody midsong I could skip to the spot instead of having to do the whole thing over just to catch that bit
Fave lines
I shared wit many that inspiration bein fatherless flared// 17 on that stoop givin the troops a father that wears... his teachings... a young nigga wit his crosses to bear// thats why my bro still listens- mah mother no longer cursin me// im on my own n walkin- no longer inside the nursery// but its still a mystery I make it each anniversary// doomed at birth in environments where idols murder fa currency

Another clever ass wordplay^
Flow was on point all through, but, honestly, I hate this style, like that super hood TI(dont get me wrong, he's amazing) type shit, *yada yada good bitch, yada yada would bitch, yada yada look bitch stuff...mostly because people who do it aside from him do it cause they suck at rhyming, but you killed it man. Is really like to hear this when it gets recorded
