Don't get defeated by the overhead press. It's going to be your weakest lift, by default. What's your program, I forgot.
If you're separating Bench/Dead/Squat/OHP then separate bench and ohp as much as possible. Your soreness from bench can be a detriment to OHP.
If you're doing Starting Strength and focusing on the A workout, expect your overhead press to be weak. I'm sure on the weeks that you start with the B workout after rest your overhead press is better.
I got hung up on my OHP number for a while, but it will come. It's a fucking awesome lift though. Doing more than 1 plate on OHP for reps gets all the bitches sucking your dick.
