I just think it's a throw away holiday, it has a meaning but it's not even close to being celebrated as if we are remembering any departed or helping recently deceased souls make the transition to heaven whatsoever... Ask a kid what Halloween means, they don't know... They just want to wear their Optimus prime costume and get some brand name candy and egg the houses next year of the herbs that give away healthy foods or off brand shit.
And I love seeing my daughter dressed up and happy and she is going trick or treating this year but not for long just to my parents cul-de-sac ... But I don't have to enjoy a holiday to enjoy my daughters happiness I just enjoy the latter everyday and one of those days happens to be a day I don't enjoy I'll just have fun with her while she enjoys it.
