Qualia is a troubling thing as well, begetting what David Chalmers often refers to as the
Hard Problem of Consciousness. Thankfully, we can deconstruct and strip reality of it's illusions and expose ourselves to it's axiomatic language - Mathematics. I suggest you read some of the work by Max Tegmark, for a more conceptual, mathematical approach to systemic forms of alteration, chaos and entropy.
