Thank you frank metts. Why would someone "choose" to be gay. You cannot help who you fall in love with. That why its called soulmates. The whole perception that a girl thinks they switched teams is cuz of sexual abuse isn't actually true. Cuz why would some others not switch? My best friend got abused by her grandfather for 7 years and after 5 years of therapy and healing, she is proudly engaged to a man. that kind of abuse causes distrust in all human beings, not just a specific gender- once you're betrayed by your own family or someone close. I'm friends with gays both males and females and as far as the females go who "switched teams", some of them don't even consider themselves gay. They'd been with guys all their lives and then one day got close to one of their girlfriends and it unexpectedly grew from there. They fell in love with the person, not the fact that she was a girl. Hererosexuals are born wired a certain way just as homosexuals are. Girl on girl relationships are also a lot more intimate, not sexually but in understanding one another's emotions and I guess being more delicate than say an average guy would. I used to think gay and straight was cut an dry but the more people I meet who open up to it I think it's more involved than that. It can't be a choice if someone is crying and wishing they weren't what they were, ya know what I mean.
