Was this your application essay to the Netcees.com Hall of Fame? That's what it read like, to me. Your writing is as fluid as ever, and the topic was pretty clear to me despite all the metaphors: I was reading a dead man verse about what it's like to read a dead man verse. That sort of topic is cool. This was sort of a self-reflection boast. It's not a reflection of your thoughtfulness as much as your simple ability to rhyme better than most.
