Goodie Mob got more love in the DC/MD area as well.. but I found that the Eastern Shore of MD had a buncha heads that grew up listening to Outkast more than GM.

I mean, of course we all heard their classics get overplayed on the radio.. but Outkast wasn't a big thing where I grew up. Everybody jumped on Goodie Mob tho.. & tho they're dope, I only really fucked w/ Black Ice.

Outkast was/is prominent in Illinois for some reason tho.. apparently they were huge out here in the 90's & they're highly respected & regarded today.

For me, in the 90s, No Limit Records was the south.. & I had like every album. It actually was my favorite music ever to listen to when I was in middle/high school.. lol I still have alot of da tank's shit today matta of fact.

But yeah Outkast didn't have a big influence in my area.
