if you have a disease that is curable, hospitals should definately fix it. but if you got pancreatic cancer what is the point? if you got the money, and you wanna stretch another 8 months into your life, go ahead and drop the crazy money on treatment
but i dont want my government, using my tax money, to keep a person alive who has an uncureable disease. that is pure buffoonery and malarkey dog

They haven't always had cures for those other things either, but they worked on it and found a cure, something that would never have been done but for years and years of medical records for those diseases. We need to treat people, not only to keep them alive, but to study their illnesses and find a cure.
