I can't listen to this song anymore. I equate it to so many things that have gone past. I originally heard it trying to be part of the uncool cool crowd. Then I associated it with a time. I remember, in pinpoint, driving a white jeep to this song. I remember getting head from an ex who I still drunkenly text to this day to this song. Most critics say it's exploitative and cheap. But it's a piece of me.



I can't listen to that opening riff without turning it off anymore. I'm immediately brought back to Fairmont High School. To my regets, to my triumphs, to being young. To the regret of not doing more.
