I'm open to believe it exists, but I don't think shit like this is real. Me and my buddies used to go ghost hunting in high school (Hawaii can be boring) at all the places where there's some kind of local lore/people swear they've seen shit etc, and did all the hubris type shit that's supposed to anger the spirits, and never once was there a remotely mysterious happening of any sort.
Though namix brings up an interesting point about the conservation of energy. It's far-fetched, sure, but still works as a theory under a scientific framework. It would be cool to do an experiment with people on their deathbed, see what the final physiological and biochemical changes are as your body transitions from life to death. If there are changes, you'd be able to measure the thermodynamics of it. Or maybe I just woke up and I'm high.
