If we invade the country it's an act of overzealous aggression with an agenda concerning more then Assad's Regime. Russia is now bitter enemies as quoted from Putins mouth in a recent RussiaToday TV interview on The Obama Administration.

So it was an accident. Still raises alarm for them having possession of the chemical weapons but not enough to attack.
