First off,
Bjj, Is a system of 'self-defense'....
In a fight, which most of you have probably never been in, 95% of the time.... It's on the ground within 10-15 seconds.
bjj is an art based on proper technique compared to say, football.. which has more to do with with strength and speed. Therefor, size and reach(possible velocity)... have a much less impact on who wins the match.
Think about the different possibilities of street fight... faggots
1. You sucker punch some guy from behind. This is the Lars method, after they spill his Daiquiri.
2. 1 on 1.... if it's at a bar/club... that won't happen...
3. Someone getting jumped after attempting to go 1 on 1... and random dudes throwing shots into the pile of faces.
In conclusion...
BJJ was built around self-defense, and to be very street applicable. Only more recently has it been shaped more towards the sport aspect of BJJ. However, in a fight where 95% of the time it's going to the ground... If he's bigger? Your most likely going to be on bottom.... If you don't know BJJ, gl with your fucking karate chops and judo throws with some 250 pound ron on you.... sweeps are technique.... Our bodies have a way of natural movement, that is governed by rules. Caveman have been learning these techniques ages ago.... Get with the program girls.

Just seen this, I've never punched a guy from behind, wouldn't waste hurting these hands of mine when I could just as easily take him out face-to-face. I guarantee I've had more fights this past month than most of you have had this past year.
Keep talking like you know anything about the art of brawl though pussy.
