Y'all don't listen closely enough. He only shouted them out as the best rappers he's worked with. Yes, he said he was better than them. But he named them as compliments. Kendrick Lamar has worked closely with all of them.
That line about hating them was just a competitive spirit. It's no different than basketball players talking trash to their friends on the court.
The "king of New York" line warranted response ... from New York rappers. A$AP Rocky is the only New York rapper Lamar named, and he did respond (not with a verse, but with an interview that's posted here).
