"Stiletto to the Back"

Was much later than I anticipated, 8 past 12 or a bit more probably
sleepily sauntered thru the cinema lobby, an usher yawned quiet
while guiding us to the side exit.. pushed the door on autopilot
peered out to the seedy city hub, rifled my pockets n' flicked the ticket stub
bent to my kicks n' fixed a scuff, while at the door...held it for the lady behind me
maybe it was timing, or the way I was brought up manners and refinement
Most likely not though, a particular muscle wanted me to turn the charm on
She gave a curt nod, my eyes warmed over her bodice..yes rather sloppy game i admit
thats when i felt it.. damp spray on my skin, slight precip made way.. for the rain to begin
Her poncho must've felt accomplished, a cock blocking article of clothing..motive to trap
couldnt tell if she was toned or fat.. with that, she grabbed a small umbrella from outta her bag
She offered, I obliged the shelter.. the promise of dryness was attractive now
since the mist turned water marbles, sounding like hi hats launched an attack on the ground
I examined her close as we soaked our way thru the urban sprawl.. thick but not meaty
milky complexion shown way to rosy cheeks, as if graffiti.. we worked toward the cross walk
She faced me...those sweeping green pools told me she was headed opposite my direction
so I nodded and said "it was pleasant." then she retreated back down the cause-way with effort
I forced a last lingering look and began to turn away enroote,
when i see high beams turn outta the alley engage in pursuit.

I fought myself for a while, "its just a car" "coincidence" "she'll manage.." then the lights completely vanish..
Now i had zero vantage to charge in reckless abandon with hero antics
Rushed back to the boulervard full of heart..saw the car put in park, shadows in the distance
attention was my mission, I approached the vehicle ina instant.. they had left the door ajar
they homed in on the girl... last resort, the horn was a good enuff.... !!!ALARM!!!
piercing silence like a serated edge, the captors whirled their wayward heads
and the spooked doe they were after...escaped instead, Now they started down on me
but I was much more elusive prey..darted off the streets into the fray, a gloomy maze
These back roads were unfamiliar. heart racing, splashed footsteps reverberated drastic
off old bricks causing a certain phaser'd racket. Muffled voices oxygenated the space
still locked in the chase for what seemed hours each step
but i needed to stop for a sec to cough in another breath.
Panting furiously, I surveyed the scene...disoriented trying to get the lay of things
no inkling where i was, but someone did though. a sharp metal echo saturated my ears
inconsistent in its haunting melody, fear prominent and readily whatever may near
mind molded noise to visual as I envisioned a pipe holding individual berating
striking the wall occasionally, slower and more pronounced.. i hear it.
1 tap after another, no footsteps which was weird as IT drew nigh
I began to dread that steel sonata..It was do or die, I edged out carefully from cover..
improvised a cutter amongst rubble and made ready to strike
bounding around the corner i leapt into action..
the struggled ended upon realization, that me and the metal wailing
would finally meet seeing what
....it was the gentle ms. holding her broken heel up
