The reason we are clearly not as evolved of a species as we think:
--we live on a rock we cannot move...
i mean shit, for all of our 'technological feats' and even ancient achievements (megaliths, etc) --- they are all on a rock, just waiting to get hit by another rock.
when we grow up, we'll build the crafts we need to bob and weave lol.
from there, we live in space and:
1. our solar protective gear will cause our skin to lose color
2. we will evolve away from the iris, living in darkness, and just have huge 'ol black pupils.
3. the lack of gravitational pull will elongate our figures....
then finally -- we will look in the mirror one day and realize that the idea of gray aliens made a whole lot of fuckin sense if we had thought about it lol.

but for real, we need to get off this rock lol.
