I dont know about everywhere else but see jets flying back and forth fairly regularly releasing a contrail, which may just be a contrail (could easily be intionally tainted) however they dissolve and blend together spreading first into a haze then often into large clouds. it was constant and obvious early on in the summer having overcasts forming overhead to block what would normally be a bright sunny day. I have plenty of pictures
