erica badu recorded an album or two using garageband, i found out recently. shit's legit. and it's got master track options. you can literally record, mix, and master in a matter of minutes. it's a no-brainer for me, garageband all the way. it's real easy and in-your-face. took me a while to realize i could master my shit own it, but once i did...my sound quality went to the next plateau.
p.s. i'm writing this on my restored macbook pro. genre over.
