Matt Asiata, DeAndre Hopkins, or Fred Jackson?

For the Flex this week?

It's tough

Diode 10-09-2014 04:28 PM

if bridgewater plays i'm going asiata.

~RustyGunZ~ 10-09-2014 04:29 PM

I've got Asiata in for now, but Jackson has been doing work for the most part and Hopkins has been my flex so fatr every week with ups and downs

PancakeBrah 10-09-2014 04:39 PM

Hopkins is my gut reaction to the choices. None of the three have a good matchup this week but in my mind he's the safest bet. Doesn't mean it'll be the correct choice once the week's been played but the method of arriving at Hopkins represents sound logic and will serve you well if used continually.

Asiata vs. a Top 5 run defense?

Nothxgeoffrey

Marginally talented (and that's pushing it) RB who's buoyed in the minds of owners because of a fluke game against a terrible defense at home. He's a touchdown-dependent back who is at the mercy of his match ups. McKinnon is up and down but more talented and I can see Asiata being phased out as the season progresses, including this game where a between the tackles/slow style will get eaten alive by Detroit's defensive line and DeAndre Levy. He might get a goal line score but he's a very marginal play this week. Obviously I could be 100% wrong but you have to play the odds and a strong game from Asiata would be the outlier in this situation.

I'll be starting him @ flex in one league but that's just due to an injury to Rashad Jennings and my roster being top heavy.

Fred Jackson vs. Hopkins is coin flip-ish to me. New England's Defense > Indianapolis', plus he splits carries. Never know what you'll get. Hopkins is a better talent, even accounting for position, and is basically the #1 option in an albeit tepid passing scheme. He can go off, though, and has the highest potential with a relatively okay basement.

Fantasy Guru. Heed my advice friend.

blah blah blah asiata is a bruising back and the vikings are going to move the ball easily due to the run threat of bridgewater

lots of hb screens and checkdowns for asiata

wouldnt be surprised to see triple options too

oh @Diode @PancakeBrah @Attack of the Muff

richardson has been getting more work which pisses me off as a bradshaw owner

id wait a week though to see if fragile ahmad goes down again with injury

but hell even then richardson did nothing last year with nobody threatening his job

so i mean

fuck trent richardson

>Basing projections on Bridgewater vs. Falcons

lol

Yeah bruising backs (with more talent than Asiata) like Eddie Lacy destroyed the Lions run defense. lol

inb4 "But no Bridgewater to help run!!!"

That's nearly insignificant. Teddy B going to get rekt by DeAndre Levy doe.

Diode's teams underperform.

My teams top leagues.

You decide your fate, Knucklehead.

PancakeBrah 10-09-2014 04:54 PM

Trent Richardson is never the correct choice.

We've never been in the same league ever. You're dumb today.

Eddie Lacy sucks at RB. As does anyone behind the GB OLine.

Yeah that's why I haven't played Asiata Jackson or Richardson at all yet. Just sucks to see them have good games when Hopkins only grabs 6 or 7 points. I'm 5-0 in my league though my teams win leagues haha

I'm 5-0 in mine and have been starting Asiata, started Fred Jackson once and he had a decent game, I'm reluctant to start him tho cause I know when I do cj spiller will have a random good game.
