I just gonna be getting a few things together if God forbid something happened so I can take care of my family. Not that I expect something to but just incase.

Chances are ur gonna be hunkered down at your house. Get ur supplies up to par there. Then if u need to leave in a hurry making a bag of supplies shouldn't take more than a few minutes.


U can fit a lot more things in let's say ur garage or attic. How long u gonna survive on the contents of a bag

I live in an apartment bruh I ain't got much room to just keep stuff. I gotta location to get to but I just need enough supplies for a few days while I get there or until the initial shock of whatever happened wears off an I can get more. I just need to have something so my wife can grab an run with the kids if I at work or something

EDIT: building bug out bags is so strangely cathartic. been doing it since before i knew it was a thing. parents ground you for pantsing jenna rojee, fuck that. grab your hot wheels backpack, fill it with clothes, top 3 toys and the snacks u didnt eat from the last week bc snack time whack af when it comes after nap time. nig i just woke up cant appetite rn. fuckem, throw it all in the bag. go stand out in the porch in the rain for 15 minutes and then ocme back like "yo i decided not to run away"

i have one, but i use it for camping and shit too..

bare essentials should be all about water tbh.

- water purifier drops / tablets
- canteen (which can be put on fire)
- collapsible water bottles

then other basics:
- a couple high protein bars
- snare rope/wire
- some kinda space blanket shit that's super lightweight but retains heat and is cheap
- knives / sharpener
- compass
- flint & steel
- machete


then, depending on what we're bugging out about, i recommend GPS trackers and ninja swords. half joking

Actually what you have in your bag can last you a lifetime if you invest in the right things.

My food for instance...long shelf life....but if you want the gift that keeps on giving get some heirloom non gMO seeds for a raised garden...if soil is not plentiful or the ground is not prime for harvest....a makeshift raised garden is a good alternative....fill up a few five gallon buckets with dirt and a good seal

I recently revamped my water purification, filter and sustainment resevoirs and lemme tell you..its a great peace of mind to have. Those tablets in the store at Walmart and such.....tisk...tisk..... Tisk.....

Tell me more about this gardening an soil stuff. And wat exactly is the difference between the tablets an filtered stuff other than the physical traits is it any cleaner
