i remember being on these sites and seeing the 25 year olds like damn they're fucking old as shit

i remember being 15 like, yo when im 25 im gonna have my shit together.

i remember being able to say IM A GROWN ASS MAN, and people would smirk like "this little nigga is stupid"

i remember being able to joke when someone older complained about there age. now when i say stuff joking like man i'm getting up there, and now theyre silent like "we know nigga shut up we see your bald and have a giant beard and your missing front teeth i HOPE your old"

im just old as shit and depressed

i also got nothing, which is a first. i usually at least get something shitty from my sister or mom. but nah. i'm old.

Since your realize many of your problems are focused around financial hardship why not take an action to better your situation, make a 60-90 day goal for your self & actually put forth effort to meet your goal.


Anyways, congrats I'm 25 this year as well.

I feel old as fuck. I've come to realize that being an adult means you're basically just able to be a super-kid whenever you want. As well as enjoy adult shit that sucked as a kid (coffee, dark chocolate, etc).

Being an adult means losing safety nets and the walls closing in. Opportunities dwindle and denials pile up until you're lying to your own face or stinging from all the self realizations, possibly both. But what is life without happiness? What you thought you knew is no more, so you create new philosophies and ideas (denials) about things so you can not hate yourself. Or maybe you're just learning? Getting (denying) more wise.

I used to think people got better with age. They don't. More 'successful'? Maybe. But better? No. It's a jungle out here and it fucks you up.

I'd say follow some sort of religion as you get older, gives you a false sense of hope when you finally go to sleep for good.

Cause just think, one day you'll shut your eyes.. Forever. Can you imagine that? Like just blackness.
