How do you decide what songs go into this.

Admittedly the Blockbuster Night joint was meh. But I like Oh My Darling Don't Cry.

generally, whenever I download a new album and throw it onto my ipod, when I'm listening to it, I'll throw my favorite songs into the "on-the-go" playlist. And every couple days I scour the internet (2dbz, atrilli, p&p, etc.) for new singles and shit. The ones I like go into an itunes playlist. And as it gets close to the end of the month, I go through, narrow it down to 20, or dig through my itunes to get it up to 20, and order them in a way that I feel flows well. Fairly straight forward. I just try to make sure I'm constantly listening to new shit to find dope shit.

It's all sounding very much like El-P featuring Killer Mike. The first album sounded like a true collaboration.

I completely agree with that.

I don't think Lemme Freak is any good without the video.

Don't be a hater, son. That shit is dope.

Certain 10-05-2014 04:09 PM

On the flip side, I hadn't heard Anti-Lilly & Envy Hunter's "Welcome To Forever." That's a great track. Thanks.

Certain 10-05-2014 07:59 PM

Listened to this all the way through (including tracks I know and even the Big Sean track) at work just now. Here's what I'd say the eight standouts were:

Kendrick Lamar - I
Anti-Lilly & Envy Hunter - Welcome To Forever
QuESt - May 10th, 2012
Boaz - Mathematics
Tonedeff - Competitive Nature
STS ft. Black Thought - $5000 Dolla Coat Shit
Black Milk ft. Bun B - Gold Piece
Hannibal King - Never Die

That's cool. I understand that people will have different opinions. But just know that of all of the individual track downloads, the Big Sean song has been downloaded the most right now.

I dig it a lot. It's super bay area style, which is different for him, which is probably why it's so dope to me. Cause it's Sean adjusting his style to meet E-40, and not the other way around.
