"The Blacklantic Situation"

In massive strains, the acid rains were onyx petrol, Turkish coffee
never served with malt cream, spawning utility worker crossbreeds -like the rhyme scheme here compared to the rest above it deltas were charred skulls with serpents crawling out -whoa another stand out to me... The universe doesn't see a gray area since it's colorblind vocab in this was off the chains...story was on point.. kinda stretched out for my liking wit' the lines....but the content brought it all together good drop |

will read your post & reply. weird, it wouldn't let me delete the post. |
This was great. Part of me wish it had been a more cohesive story, but when you were experimenting with your style and being more plot-oriented, a lot of your complexities were left sorely unexplored. You've been heavily slept on the past few months. Your writing has been a bit more jumpy and a little less metaphyiscal since the last season of AOWL, but I feel as if you have returned from a great meditation with a sense of zen only you could give yourself in an era of flux. A fulcrum at the tipping of the scales. Not playing it safe, just letting a balancing act run its course. I'd be more specific with regards to this verse but I feel as if quotes and criticism couldn't demonstrate what I'm saying any better, so just, welcome back.

This was a great read. I don't know what lines to quote & say "that was great", but if I did it would be:
"The universe doesn't see a gray area since it's colorblind". I enjoyed reading this, quite a bit. The over-all message wasn't dark, but the setting was. A lot of it had words in it that I didn't take the time to google, and I probably should have. I may read this again, and understand it in greater detail. I will say that you are obviously gifted and have a great vocabulary, and that your method of putting things together into structure is good. |
