It was late the neon glow the only light reflecting off the wettened streets
the bar was buzzing like my current mindstate, the place wreaked of purfume sweat and drinks
I approached a woman it was apparent she spent all night styling her outfit
as I greeted her she returned the gesture while i was looking for guy she came out with
I asked are you alone she nodded and sipped her drink something fruity id guess
the spot next to her was unoccupied I asked to take a seat she replied astutely with Yes
the night lingered we kept eachother company, the sands of time landed from a fast fall
what seemed like five hours passed away in minutes as the bartender yelled last call
as we walked out the door she offered a night cap and she said your place is fine
I grabbed her hand looked her in the eyes and said your fingers were meant to be laced with mine
