That was a fantastic Round 2 aside from three no-shows. Let's avoid that as we're down to the final eight. The threads will go up tomorrow, but I figured I'd give you your topics and matchups now.

First, a little bit of book-keeping: Split beat Cormier 5-3 by votes but was deducted one for a missed vote. Everyone else who won voted on the required battles, which was much appreciated.

For this round, you get 12 lines. I'm also doubling the penalty for missed votes, so that each missed vote means a two-vote deduction, since there are only three battles for each competitor to vote on. Verses again will be due Thursday.

>Great matchup. No snarky comments, this will be nail-biter provided Pancake doesn't no show. Shit topic. Cake is on a tear, and Eng is holding his cards close thus far. Could see an upset here, but Cake's verses tend to have mass appeal.

>another fantastic matchup. Cool topic, seems to fit both well except in a slightly askew manner. Couldnt pick who could win.
