well...there was this Colombian girl I went to school with. Maria Elajandra Torres. She was an angel. She liked me, I was smitten. I can't front. I mean like I would think about her....nonstop. Her voice melted my soul, and....well you get the idea.

Senior year high school, wouldn't have fell for that one fateful pump fake. Landed on a dude's foot, tore all my ligaments, explosiveness was never the same after. Also would have gotten taped that game too. Still played ball in college, but I sprained my ankle almost once a season afterwards.

@Witty yeah it was gnarly. Though I've had blue and purple ankle multiple times in my life, that was the first and the worst.

@veritas I could say that life is different now because I no longer play competitively out of fear of hurting it again, and how that absence of competition has had various effects on me, but really it's because I get my ankle again last night in a stupid way and I'm still annoyed.
