do you guys have anything you are working towards or trying to do?

outside of professional/everyday life.

i know alot of you write, but do you have any secret aspirations?

i have too many i think but lately i've been getting the itch to rap really bad

and not even to like impress anybody, but just to try and make an album completely myself, so i can say word thats me. spit all my delusions and inner mind workings over my own production. not to be famous at all. i don't want to be a rapper. i just want to use it as a platform to express myself creatively know what i mean

also i want to write an epic fantasy saga, but after being about 6 months in on that endeavor i've got like 30 pages written that will most likely all be scrapped, and just tons of notes. plotlines. character descriptions. settings etc. its like my notes keep getting bigger but nothing else

thats kind of it.

shit im working towards tho involving that is more on the album side. like getting a mic again which i can do whenever really for like 100 bucks you can get a mic with good enough quality. but im still trying to get that mpc renaissance

whenever i get the itch to make beats going through the motions in the same software i've used for 8 years now just kind of kills my soul

Besides watching my Steelers beat up the Ravens this year again, my aspirations are set for 2016 in the world of breakdancing

not so much an album, but a short EP.

'I Yam What I Yam' which is a play on the old addage 'You Are What You Eat' (they call us Yam Yams down here)

in my head i've had it where its almost a concept album, all the songs following on from each other and ultimately leading back to the first track - almost like a week in the life of me

i've still got love for putting together events, battle events, showcases, charity gigs etc - i've just been no-showed honestly 8-9 times in a row now and i'm just like, fuck it. whats the point in writing and wasting my time/effort/money for some other asshole to just decide he isnt showing on the day and fuck it all up? its annoying.

plus i'm practically a married man, trying for a kid, always said i wanted to be married by 30. i'm doing good.

Travel. I want to hit every continent. Only have Antarctica and Africa left.

I've always liked the idea of writing pop science, kinda like bill nye. I feel like a lot of people lack scientific literacy, largely because scientific papers are awful to read for most people. I personally enjoy reading scientific studies, and I feel like I'm good at breaking things down in a palatable way.

I've tinkered with the idea of getting involved with state politics as well. I worked in politics for a few years and hated it, but the inner martyr thinks that might qualify me more than people who enjoy the gaminess of politics.

Honestly I have thousands of goals lol, I keep an ongoing checklist on my phone and comp to track my progress throughout the year each year (started in 2011). Above all I'd like to write fiction and op-eds for a living, maybe being adjunct professor at a university or something, idk.

I looked into getting involved with politics here, I don't know how it works in the states but here they ask that you make a donation of your yearly earnings to the party and I forget exactly how much off the top of my head- but it was something around 10% of what you earned, which was a LOT when I first looked into it and my wage was relatively low.

Local politics is something I'm really passionate about, national politics never really interested me that much. It's definately something i'd look into again in the future, but def. not any time soon. You have to have money just to be involved with them in the first place.

Im trying to move to Queenslad (the state north of mine) and become a Policeman. I started the long journey ie application on January 1 this year and the final two assessments I have to complete are the interview and fitness day both in September. I am extremely confident in both as per my professional background/relative experience. So yeah its all been good so far, aced everything just waiting on the last two parts.

get fully involved with racing. SCCA, AMA Pro-Am, Karting, Skip Barber, Formula Ford... Whatever it is. Track a car, compete in a season.

def not like that in Hawaii (different state by state, but I'd imagine any state that has a policy like that would be the exception). You only make 40k as a state representative, so it wouldn't be big money, but I think I would do a good job (plus most states politicians do it as a second gig IE don't do a good job at it and have obvious conflicts of interest in bills they sponsor etc). idk, Hawaii is a special place with unique challenges, and I'd like to do some kind of social service in a meaningful way.

That was the other thing, I work for the government and you can't be involved in two jobs like that where there may be a conflict of interest. When I retire though, the UK is getting trolled like a motherfucker...

Yes sir. We have breakdancers in our dojo where i train for mma, so ive learned alot of tricks from these guys/my bros over the last 2 & a half years

Well, most NCG's know ya boy Batty is into drawing/painting/sculpting/vandalizing/masturbation, so in a perfect world I could find an outlet for these things that made rent happen.

But for real, after seeing how fucking crooked the legit workplace is, my goal is to quit work somehow and work for the asshole I know best: myself.

I mean, I quit stealing and hustling to be legit at something but shiiiitttt, the real workplace is 100x more crooked.

My boss sucks dick both meta and literally.
