Due Dates:

• Verses are due TUESDAY,
  August 12th 2014 11:59 PM PST.
• Check Ins are due SUNDAY, August 10th 2014
• Voting ends SATURDAY August 16th 2014 11:59 PM PST.
• Battles that lack votes may close later.
• One sided battles may get closed early.
• Extensions are 24 hours
• You will be GRANTED ONE EXTENSION AS A TEAM throughout the Tourney. Any extension beyond the first will result in loss of votes.

Line Limit:

• Min. = 16 lines
• Max. = 16 lines
• Limit MUST be agreed upon

General Rules:

• First to 7, Win by 2, 5-0=KO
• 1st person to post can't edit after the 2nd person posts.
• 2nd person to post can't edit after a vote has been made.
• Feeding = DQ.
• Recycling = DQ.
• Biting = DQ.
• No freeposting, swaying or bitching.
• Unless a picture battle is agreed upon,
  linking to your opponent's picture or posting it
  means you will be disqualified.

Archives had a lot of misses and reaches for concepts. NP was more consistent and had more hits.

AOTA: Decent. Everything seemed just relaxed enough to the point where it seemed like more a passive diss rather than trying to prove your better or funnier, or wittier. In contrast, you did probably have *slightly better wording? Not sure, have to re-read a few more times to fully make that realization. Seemed rush. Or uninspired. Nothing really humoristic or the tenacity of it wasn't really there. A few things were jabs, but nothing that made it mind blowing, or close to it.

NP: You had a few misses, where as AOTA had things that werent as ineffective. This hurt you a lot; reason being, is that, I think a miss is worse than actually something not hitting hard, but I think that was nullified with the hook line sinker line, which, in retrospect would be good, if it wasnt such a consistent nameplay/reference. The oh vul was by far my favorite line and made me wince. Good stuff guys, enjoyable read from both but I think that NP took this by a decent margin.

Archives of the Ancients: I wince every time someone spells "segue" like the automated scooter product. The Hush eyebrows line was funny enough, but you're not facing Hush. The best lines in this read sort of like bad lines from a zygote battle rap. There were very few personals, though admittedly neither of these guys is that personable around the site. The opener might have been the best line of a bland verse.

Name Pending: "Al Murda" might not be a bad choice, if you guys do in fact want a name. This verse was good enough to win pretty clearly. I liked the fluidity of the Dos Equis line and the wordplay of the arcade line. The treats line might have worked better with "bitch" instead of "dime" in the setup. The "Oh Vul" line was probably the best of the battle. As predicted, your styles work well together (unless this was all murda sho).

I was surprised here, usually vulgar has vicious flow with witty lines, didn't see your usual creativity, felt too abstract and not enough attack, king looks like u complemented the same way as vulgar, not enough attacking, teams beys was biblical proportion line which was cool, but that's it


Karp and sho were consistent, man the strip all of ur pride coulda been dope but fell hella flat, didn't like Xanax either, rest was ok to solid, not your bests but more than enough

I love the vocabulary and obscure references. You can tell topical heads wrote this battle verse. You guys stayed true to your name and used ancient references like zombies and mummification chambers.

Murda drops line was a nice text battle punch.

v - NP. I wasn't feeling anything from the AA group, the wording and references just didn't hit it at all to me. A lot of them were soft jabs and even then, it didn't really tag your opponent. NP had a couple bars that were more than soft jabs, and hit the opponent directly, which gave them the battle very easy.
