And I don't think they ever showed the daughter on TV in the original. I could be wrong. But then again, the original was a total mind-fuck.

I've heard it's bad.

I haven't seen the original but considering the wests past butcherings of eastern classics I'm willing to believe it sucks.

It being a Spike Lee film is the weirdest shit too.

I always wanted to make a crazy intense drama/action movie that captivates audiences, and ends with the protagonist being abruptly hit over the head with a dildo by a clown, who then stares at the camera, honks his nose twice and starts raping the hero of the story while he's unconscious
